Video Games VS. Life in Easy Mode

Someone close to me said recently, ‘I used to play video games on easy so I could just get through it. If you play video games on easy you are teaching yourself to get through it without much effort. You don’t have to work for it. ‘

When he said it I didn’t think much about it and went about my day. Something happened recently that made me go back to measly little thought he decided to say out loud that night. Honestly, he probably didn’t think about it this deeply either. 

If we go about life on easy mode, we won’t ever challenge our brains. Challenge it to figure out new ways to come at obstacles. Overcome the beasts we encounter. Whether those are beasts within yourself or physical beasts you’re battling with.
